NCACE Ideas Pool 2 – online, 8 Feb

The second NCACE Ideas Pool will be an opportunity for arts and culture sector organisations and artists to meet potential collaborators from the higher education sector through some online speed networking and workshops around the four NCACE key themes which are Place-making and Levelling Up, Environment and Climate Emergency, Health and Wellbeing, and Technology for Social Good with our regional partners.

We will hear from some cultural knowledge exchange projects and research collaborations, as well as funders including AHRC and UKRI regarding their priorities and opportunities for support work of this nature.

Bath Spa University will be leading a workshop session on Climate Change through the idea of Story, Northumbria University on Place, Birmingham City University will be workshopping technology for social good, and Manchester Metropolitan University will be leading a session on health and wellbeing.  

NCACE will be offering a small amount of match funding support (circa £1000 per project) to 4 or 5 organisations to develop potential collaborations or joint projects arising from connections made at the Ideas Pool. Further information will be given in the event.

Places on the Ideas Pool are free but booking is required. Once you have booked your place, you will be contacted prior to the event to select the workshop session you wish to attend and give us some brief information on yourself and your collaboration interests.
