ICOM offers a range of memberships to suit every museum professional. Please review the membership criteria, then apply for your chosen plan.

Membership is annual and runs from January 1 until December 31, so be sure to apply early to enjoy these benefits for the full year.

Retired	Retired museum professionals
Student	Enrolled in museum related academic programme
Supporting Individual	For individuals providing substantial assistance to ICOM both financially and otherwise*
Institutional 1 (3 x cards)	Less than £30,000 operating budget
Institutional 2 (4 x cards)	£30,000 – £100,000 operating budget
Institutional 3 (5 x cards)	£100,000 – £1,000,000 operating budget
Institutional 4 (6 x cards)	£1 – £5 million operating budget
Institutional 5 (7 x cards)	£5 – £10 million operating budget
Institutional 6 (8 x cards)	More than £10 million operating budget
Supporting Institutional (8 x cards)	For organisations providing substantial assistance to ICOM both financially and otherwise*

*e.g. museum trustees and museum board members/board of directors, members of museum friends organisations, legal professionals representing museums, media (book and magazine publishers), architects and designers (and companies) providing services to museums but not as their main activity.
