International Museum Day takes place on 18 May 2023, which this year has the theme “Museums, Sustainability and Well-Being”.
This year ICOM invites you to take action within your internal network. In this regard, we recommend you to use and share the IMD2023 poster, and on social media, remember to use the official hashtag: #IMD2023.
The map
Participating in the International Museum Day 2023 interactive map is an excellent opportunity for museums to show their commitment to promoting sustainability and well-being, while attracting new visitors and strengthening their role as important cultural institutions.
