The Collections Trust has put aside 100 free conference tickets for people who are:
- Unwaged, for example a student or volunteer.
- Underrepresented in the museum workforce, including people of Global Majority backgrounds, disabled people, and LGBTQ+.
This year’s Collection Trust conference programme will offer a mix of presentations, case studies and discussions. An excellent line-up of speakers will consider:
- Different ‘use’ scenarios and the possibilities that sharing data opens up.
- What are the benefits for both museums and other potential users of collections data?
- How the new Museum Data Service will help make sharing collections data, and recording resulting new information, easier.
- What are the benefits of sharing collections data in the context of rethinking cataloguing?
