With London Pride set to take over the capital on Saturday 04 July, Queer Britain have added more events to their summer schedule to keep the celebration going well beyond the parade.

In February Queer Britain reopened its galleries with absorbing all-new displays for 2026 featuring over 200 objects – including a panel from the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt, spectacular Club Kali costumes, Justin Fashanu’s football shirts, and the subversive song lyrics of the Women’s Liberation music movement.

Open Wednesday to Sunday each week from noon to 6pm, Queer Britain also opens into the evenings for Museum Lates on Thursday 18 June, Thursday 16 July and Thursday 20 August.

Events include:

NEW: QUEER LOVE PHOTO BOOTH 12-5PM SATURDAY 04 JULY 2026
In partnership with Queer Britain, FUJIFILM House of Photography is inviting visitors to Pride in London to take part in a playful, pride-inspired “Queer Love” photo booth installation in Trafalgar Square. Selected photographs from the project will be exhibited at the FUJIFILM House of Photography on Long Acre in Covent Garden as part of a new exhibition, Print It. The images will become part of Queer Britain’s permanent archive, ensuring these stories and moments are preserved for future generations.

Andrew Given, Queer Britain Museum Chief Executive, said:
“As we mark 54 years since the very first London Pride, there’s no better time to visit Queer Britain to learn more about LGBTQ history with stories of community, reflection and creativity from the UK, and to celebrate our shared queer stories past and present.“
