Working in Partnership and Writing an Agreement

This online, interactive course takes place over 2 x online sessions:

This short online course focuses on working in partnership on exhibition and touring projects and writing a partnership agreement.

Drawing on TEG’s template partnership agreement, this course guides you through:

  • The characteristics of a successful partnership
  • How to prepare before starting to develop and write an agreement
  • Different ways to reach an agreement
  • The key content that an agreement should include
  • How agreements may vary
  • How using an agreement can support collaborative working practices

The short online course will increase the confidence of participants to work in partnership and negotiate key areas of a partnership agreement. It is also an opportunity to network with other professionals interested in temporary, touring and partnership exhibitions.

Introduction to Touring Exhibitions

This online, interactive course takes place over 2 x online sessions:

This short online course is aimed at individuals and organisations who wish to start producing and/or receiving local, regional and national touring exhibitions. It provides basic level skills and knowledge for receiving, creating and managing touring exhibitions, and is an opportunity to network with other professionals interested in temporary, touring and partnership exhibitions.

The online course would also provide a useful introduction to students and volunteers interested in learning about the principles and practices of touring exhibitions, or anyone new to touring exhibitions in a museum, gallery or heritage role.

Please note this course does not cover international touring exhibitions.

During each course, delegates will have the opportunity to put the learning and ideas shared into practice. Zoom breakout rooms will be used for discussions and activities in small groups.

Each online course is interactive and delivered by an experienced TEG trainer. The number of participants is limited to facilitate online learning and participation.
