We’re delighted to welcome two new members to our board of trustees, with the appointment of Dr Paula Granados García and Ruth McKew.

Paula Granados García is Head of the Endangered Material Knowledge Programme (EMKP) at the British Museum, where she provides strategic leadership, guiding the programme’s implementation, scholarly vision, and stewardship of its ‘living’ digital collection.

Ruth McKew is a director at Headland Design, where she leads the company’s work with museums and historic sites across the UK across a range of disciplines from exhibition design and delivery, to collections management and National Lottery Heritage Fund development work.

Our CEO David Gelsthorpe spearheaded the recruitment. He said: “Paula and Ruth will bring a wealth of knowledge to our board of trustees that will complement its existing skills base. I’m looking forward to working with them as Collections Trust heads towards its 50th year with the goal of securing new partnerships and opportunities to support the museum sector.”
