Durham University & The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) are delighted to announce that our international conference – Fostering Creativity through Education and Culture – will be held on the 4th and 5th September, 2017, at Durham University, Durham, UK.
This conference brings together international speakers with outstanding cultural sector practitioners, practicing teachers, and academics from across the globe, exploring the latest research and practice in creative education, including the interim results of the OECD’s CERI project on “fostering and assessing students’ creative and critical thinking skills in education”. Keynote speakers include Darren Henley, Arts Council England. The conference will be delivered through a series of talks and interactive workshops, providing delegates with the opportunity to translate research into practice. Details of the programme are available on the website.
This promises to be an engaging and inspiring conference showcasing the best in creative, and culture-led education for the benefit of educators and cultural practitioners internationally.
