This November, Los Angeles will host the 19th edition of Communicating the Museum (CTM), the world’s leading arts communications conference. CTM17 LA will take place at the LACMA, The Getty, Hammer Museum and in many other cultural institutions.
300 international leading professionals from the cultural sector will gather to network, engage in stimulating conversations and rethink their institution’s model and communication. Local and international speakers, museums and agencies, private organizations and non-profits, journalists and consultants will gather during 4 days.
For its Los Angeles edition, CTM has chosen the theme “Museums Beyond Walls“. We will discuss the role of museums in society and how they can reach out to diverse communities. We will discover how museums share their expertise and collections beyond the building and into people’s everyday lives.
