Travel Bursary reports now online: read about ICOM UK members attending events in China, Botswana and the USA

We have recently published four Travel Bursary reports on the ICOM UK website.  You can read and download the following reports:

  • Mimi Waitzman, Deputy Keeper of Musical Instruments at the Horniman Museum and Gardens travelled to China for the ICOM CIMCIM conference.
  • Miriam Kleingeltink, MA Conservation at Camberwell College of Art, UAL London travelled to New York for the American Institute of Conservation (AIC) Photographic Materials Groups (PMG) and the ICOM-CC Photographic Materials Working Group (PMWG)
  • Patricia Allan, World Cultures Curator at Glasgow Museums travelled to Botwana for the CAM and Botswana National Museums’ Human Remains Management Workshop.
  • Maria Paula Arias, University of Manchester travelled to Boston, USA for the MuseWeb conference.

The Travel Bursary fund is now closed for 2018-19 as all funds have been allocated.  There are still funds available from the Camilla Boodle Fund.

The 2019-20 round of Travel Bursaries will open for applications in September 2019.  We will also shortly announce the details of the next round of ICOM UK – British Council Travel Grants.
