The ICOM UK Board are elected by the members of the UK national committee and agreed by the present Board.  The ICOM Secretariat have 'Rules for National Committees' published on the website, the national committees of ICOM adopt rules which are used for guidance during the national committee AGM.

Board members are elected for three years and can be re-elected for a second term of three years, many of our Board members complete six years enjoying the international contacts and possibilities available to them.  The ICOM UK Board meet four times a year; meeting in institutions represented by those on the Board. We also hold an away day (minutes are available on the Board Papers web page) to discuss topics enabling the continuation of Board activities, projects headed by the ICOM Secretariat and to strategically forward plan the running of the national committee.

We are particularly looking for new Board members who have experience in fundraising, bursary administration and marketing or membership skills to assist in the future of ICOM UK.
